Often when a woman has a difficult relationship with her Earth mother- she will transfer the energy to her Spiritual Mother. When she has rejected her Earthly mother, she will often reject her Spiritual Mother.
When I see women angry, argumentative, distrustful etc; of the women that I can see and that they know are their Spiritual Mothers I see the medicine that is coming up. The desire the longing for a deep healing.
A healing that transcends time and creates wholeness for both our ancestors and our lineage.
If you are called to be a Spiritual Mother it is a calling to grow up. We live in a culture where we are taught to deify youth- this causes many women who are called to be MAMA to try to be BUDDY instead. It seems more fun, yes? UNTIL – the soul of that person requires them to make a withdrawal that only MAMA can make good on and FRIEND will walk away from.
Rinse and repeat.
You end up with that particular distortion growing greater and greater.
BUT when you know you are Mama and not “buddy” You can then access the DEEP Maternal Wisdom, the still Truth and Healing that only mama can give.
And the same goes for the Spiritual Children.
Often when a woman has a difficult relationship with her Earth mother- she will transfer the energy to her Spiritual Mother. She will resent or ignore this dynamic all together. She will romanticize or fictionalize the relationship… instead of creating a REAL one. Understand that for every Spiritual Truth there is likewise a physical and tangible expression. It is not a Transitioned elder that your Soul is crying for (although you have those)- but a living embodiment for expression – YET when you receive it… you reject it. Which is also an aspect of the lesson.
I speak to this because in a society where the parental dynamic has become so devalued and distorted… there is a collective ERASURE of this truth- a FORGETTING.
